Hola. sorry for my english, I am spanish :D Working on my blog http://www.godigital.es But I am going crazy with Feature and Carousel. What I want is the Feature only on the "home page" http://www.godigital.es. But when I click on a post, the Feature is still there http://www.godigital.es/pellentesque-convallis-auctor-elit/26/09/2011 :) If I click on my categories, Feature is still there http://www.godigital.es/category/diseno :( More questions about Feature. If i choose feature as a post category, why images from post do not shows? And similar with Carousel. I want carousel appears in post pages and in categories post pages too . Here in categories carousel do not appears http://www.godigital.es/category/social :( Thx. Gracias

Buenos dias, Add the following to Dashboard > PlatformPro Settings > Custom Code in the CSS Rules area:
.category #feature{display:none;} .search #feature{display:none;} .archive #feature{display:none;} .tag #feature, .category #feature{display:none}
This will remove the slider from the Category, Search and Archive pages or any page generated when a tag is clicked.

Hi, You can try adding this to Platform Settings --> Custom Code --> CSS Rules:
.single #feature{display:none;}
That should work, but I do have one question, have you added the feature slider section to all your templates, in Platform Settings --> Template Layout ?

OK, well adding the Feature slider to the header template is the reason why you're having the issue, adding it to the header template means its always visible and is the reason for you having to add all this CSS to remove it from certain sections of your site. After looking at your homepage, I can see why you have gone down this route, so you get the feature slider and your latest posts on the same page. Now the simplest solution would be to remove the features section from the header template and use the feature template for your homepage. In doing that all the code that has been added to this post now becomes obsolete, as the feature slider will only show on your homepage, due to you using that template. But before you do that, this will also change the look of your homepage too, it will no longer contain the latest posts, which isn't something I don't think you want to do. So instead keep it the way you have it set up now and Ill show you how to add the code in the future should you add more pages to your site and the feature slider is visible. First thing to do is install the Firebug extension for Firefox http://getfirebug.com/ Once its installed, read through the documents to get a basic understanding of how to use the Firebug, this should take no longer than 30 minutes. Now that you have a basic understanding, if you use the inspect icon on your "Contact" page and look at the body section of the HTML code you will see that the body for the contact page has been given its own unique ID. http://i.imgur.com/mF0nR.jpg In the image above I have circled the ID, so from now on, whenever you create a new page and the feature slider is visible, do the same thing as I mentioned, use Firebug, get the page id for that page and make a note of it. The code below is an example for you to use but this is the code needed to remove the slider from your contact page, as the contact page ID is 165. Then go to Platform Settings --> Custom Code --> CSS Rules and add this:
.page-id-165 #feature{display:none;}
All you need to do is replace the 165 to the number that is given for that page. Hope this helps you out and sorry for the wall of text :D

Muchas gracias (thx a lot) I read about it, change the home page with a page to solve feature, but I want my home page with posts. I use firebug a lot, so thats not a problem. I understand perfectly what u are talking about, and it helped me. Now the problem is solved. And let me know if u can help me with another issue. How to use feature slider with posts. In Feature Settings I check Use Post category at Select Source. The three feature I have shows my posts, but no images form the post, and the text are too big. Any way to solve this? Thx
