Banner border not appearing

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, I'd like for my banner page (http://blogstage.americandatanetwork.com/qac/) which is a work in progress :| to have those snazzy thin grey horizontal borders like on the pagelines product feature page (http://www.pagelines.com/themes/platformpro/). I thought they were supposed to be default, but i don't see them. I'll also be doing screenshots and would like them to run into the grey border like on the platform pro page linked above. Will i need to insert some custom CSS to make the screenshots do that? Thanks very much for taking the time to help me. I'm not a coder, and really appreciate your help.

Yes you can use CSS to make those borders.
.banner-area { border-bottom: 1px solid #EEE }
If you're using Google chrome you can rightclick any element and "inspect" to find the class or id you need to use for the effect you want.

Thanks! How do i get the image to sit right on top of that border with no bottom padding? I really appreciate your help. Cheers.

Let me know if this works out:
.banner-area { padding-bottom: 0; }
That didn't seem to work. Any other ideas?
