Secondary nav on category

My first suggestion is to use EasyRecipes for your recipes because it uses far less of its own CSS than RecipePress. I've got a food site too, and tried all of them... EasyRecipes was best of all, with good, fast and friendly support. The problem is you're not really using WP categories, but custom taxonomies created by RecipePress. That's why you will have a very tough time with secondary nav. I added Custom Press to my site, which worked perfectly with EasyRecipes to create all the custom taxonomies I wanted, and Multi-column Taxonomy List. The latter was used to create pages where I had no problem with secondary menus, and my list of categories appeared in columns, neatly. From there, my visitors didn't go into plugin generated category pages, but WP generated ones, so secondary nav was no prob. http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/easyrecipe/ http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/custom-press/ http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/multi-column-taxonomy-list/

I did look at this plugin but the feature in recipe press that attracted me was this http://sandboxes.kashmirhouston.com/sandbox8/recipes-2/submit-your-own-recipe/ the ability for users to add recipes is key to this site

Hi Catrina, The items would be Mains and Sides, Salads, Desserts, Submit Your Own. Three of these are recipe press categories and one is a page. It would look like this, but this is hacked together http://sandboxes.kashmirhouston.com/sandbox8/recipes-2/
