Noob - How to make custom nav icons + Where is login/register?

Hi there, Love the theme. Two questions: 1 - I want to make some custom icons like the ones for facebook/twitter and have those go to a url. I'm pretty sure I can find the facebook/twitter ones, swap out the img and change the link, but is there a smarter way to do this? I'm thinking I'd like log/register buttons there. 2 - Somewhat related to my last question, where is login/register? In my old theme, I had login/register in the header at the top of the page and I'd like to do this somehow. Check twistedtools (dot) com to see it as it is now. Can I copy the code from my old theme into this new theme somehow? Thanks in adavance!

1. I think this is the best bet. That way you don't have to change the image path. If you want to go your own route, I believe there a plug-ins that you can use to get facebook/twitter modules on your site. 2. I would start by copying the code and seeing what happens. If it works, which it seems like it should we can just modify some CSS if necessary. Let me know how it goes on this..

Thank you very much for your reply. I think what I may do is just use the nav icons to link to the login/register pages and modify the img as you suggested. However, I wouldn't mind trying to copy it but I'm not a web programmer, though I'm pretty good at just hacking around till things work. Can you tell me what I'd copy over and where to? Thanks!

I suppose you would copy everything inside of the div with a class of "sign" (then take note of the CSS rules as well if you want it to be located in the same position and look the same.
