Custom header additional issue

I have a custom header in the universal widget. universal sidebar is placed in the site header template area. Appears on the homepage but on the inner about page http://www.d1168095.cp.blacknight.com/about-cbi/ it looks completely different. Checked the page setting and the "hide universal sidebar" is not ticked yet it doesn't appear. My template for the about page has the content area displayed and nothing else. I have used this method before on www.kinlaydublin.ie and it worked perfectly honestly don't know where I have gone wrong.

By custom header in the universal widget, do you mean that you used custom CSS to create a for the universal widget's title bar or are you referring to something else?
