How to add mulitple pics as background?

Recommended Posts

Have asked this question several times w/not really a response. Trying to set up site and want pics to show full width. I added a background pic http://tinyurl.com/3kuuu46 but not sure how to add additional pics and make them rotate as features or carousel. To understand what I'm trying to accomplish, see http://accessitaly.net/ complete responses please. I'm not a developer. thank you.

The source code of that site says it's a slider. From a background perspective, try a plugin called Better Backgrounds. I may have mentioned before that routinely rotating your backgrounds will slow your site and cause you a variety of search engine problems.

You're definitely going above and beyond the basics of PlatformPro so if the moderators are unable to help you, then I suggest hiring a Pro for help (http://www.pagelines.com/pros/). You should be able to do this using a feature slider. Set the feature slider to the height that you want. You will need to set the images to the width of your page (and might I suggested making a fixed with page with a background (sidebar) color so you have a smaller area). You will then need to edit your images so they are the size of the feature area. Once you have all of your images, you can hide the lower feature navigation (on the feature options page) and the text (on the individual feature slides). From there, you can remove any extra padding/margins using custom CSS. To see what you need to remove, I recommend using Firebug (http://getfirebug.com/).
