Hide sub menu if not connected

Recommended Posts

alargeau

Hello everyone, I'm using iBlogPro with the S2Member plugin to disable access to some private pages to people who are not connected to the website. So I've got a sort of "Members' Area" which is a parent to other web pages. The problem I have is that the sub menu is displayed to anyone, even if the person is not connected. I just mean the sub menu, not the pages, since they are restricted by the S2Member plugin. So, I would like to hide the sub menu to people who are not logged in to the website, but I don't know how to do that. Hope you can help me on that one. Thanks, Aur?©lien

Hi, Yeah sure, here it is: http://fr.lamicale309.net/votre-espace/ You can see that even if you're not logged in, you can see the sub menu, or sub pages. I know it's a normal behavior, but I would like to hide that for that specific page, so people who are not logged in can't see the content of the members' area. Anywhere else, I don't want to hide sub menus. Thanks.

Hi Alargeau, Have you tried to contact the support guys over at s2member, to see if there may be an option to do this. Otherwise this will most likely require some custom code, I would recommend contacting one of the Pagelines Pro's. http://www.pagelines.com/pros/ I also did a search and found this, which may be helpful. http://www.tomauger.com/2011/web-development/wordpress/wordpress-hiding-menu-items-from-users-based-on-their-roles-using-a-custom-walker
