Letter spacing (differs from browser to browser)

Recommended Posts

Hi! I'm having a typographical issue. The overall letter-spacing is shifting in different browsers. I'm having two scenarios, one where the spacing is slightly tighter and a second one where they are a bit sparser between each other. Is this a known issue - possible to solve - or an inevitable browser problem? Thank you for a gr8 theme!

I didn't take a look at the code, but I remember seeing yesterday a line that had "word-spacing:0" set. Don't see why that would be a problem, but you could try something like "0px" instead. Perhaps even adding the " !important" declaration.

Hello Kate, I tried your option but I cannot see any difference. However it has to be something close to what you are talking about, a missing definition that some browsers can't cope without. I'll continue searching. Appreciate any further input! Thanks!

See if this CSS fixes it:
body { letter-spacing:0em }
