How can I create a sidebar on a Boxes page?

Hi, I am trying to create a sidebar next to the boxes on a Boxes page. The boxes seem to be full width and the only way to get a vertical sidebar is to place it in the content area with ends up below the boxes. How can I get a sidebar to appear next to the boxes?

Hi Sailmarine, My first thought would be reduce the width of the boxes using CSS and to give the sidebar a -200px (example value) margin-top.
