Deleting grandchildnav_pro.php

Recommended Posts

I want to delete the grandchild navigation php for the site I??™m working on. To get rid of the grandchild pages showing in my right-hand sidebar. Does anyone see any adverse problem from doing this? I feel if I want the grandchild nav back I would just paste the php back in. Anybody think this will affect anything else in the site and i should go about it another way?

Brian, Thank you for responding. I am using that plugin but it seems to exclude the page from everywhere, I only want to exclude it from the sidebar (grandchild nav.) I have the check box for Exclude Pages: (Include this page in user menus.) But the Edit ancestor does nothing: (N.B. An ancestor of this page is excluded, so this page is too. Edit ancestor.) This is what I get when I click on the edit ancestor link: "You attempted to edit a page that doesn??™t exist. Perhaps it was deleted?" What's this supposed to do? am I doing something wrong? Here is a link to the page I'm referring to: http://pgamagazine.net/wordpress7/?page_id=117 I'm trying to move everything in my side bar up and have the pages listed above it to go away. Let me know if this makes sense and if you may know where I'm going wrong. Thanks!!!

I'm only seeing single level navigation there, did you fix this problem?

I guess we are possible not talking about or seeing the same things. I just deleted the grandchildnav_pro.php for now. Thanks anyway.
