runehyldmo 0 Report post Posted May 6, 2010 do you now if the theme lacks language support for norwegian?
cmunns 16 Report post Posted May 7, 2010 the theme are all localized, however, with that being said we only have translated themes for certain languages. Translating themes are pretty simple with PoEdit
ecommerceconsult 0 Report post Posted August 9, 2010 I translated the default theme language to dutch using poedit. Then i overwrote the original language files on the webserver. The ones in the ecopro/language directory. No changes were visible. What could i have done wrong? U can download my dutchlanguage file here for evaluation. cmunns 16 Report post Posted August 9, 2010 Hey Alex, You may need to change the wp-config.php file so that it registers the correct language code.
ecommerceconsult 0 Report post Posted August 16, 2010 my wp-config.php file is set to: define ('WPLANG', 'nl_NL'); I thought this only affects the WP-backoffice interface, not the themelanguage. I put the translation files for the ecopro-theme in public_html/wordpress/wp-content/themes/ecopro/language but it still remains english. What am i doing wrong? cmunns 16 Report post Posted August 17, 2010 It's for me to say where you might have gone wrong, but here is a great article that you can use to double check your work. http://urbangiraffe.com/articles/translating-wordpress-themes-and-plugins/ ...I think you may just be missing the final steps.
