How to get secondary sidebar to show up

Recommended Posts

kastelic
You have to have the Secondary Sidebar section active in the Sidebar 1 template. And you probably need to go into Appearance -> Widgets and actually add a widget to the secondary sidebar, I'm not sure if it has default content.

Hi Mjscott, This is actually a limitation of Wordpress and to only display a widget on a per post/page basis, you will need the help of a plugin. I've listed a few plugins that can help you achieve this. http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/widget-logic/ http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/widget-context/ Both these plugins allows you the user to specify widget visibility, so you can set it so that your contact form widget is visable only on your contact page and nowhere else.

Please search our forums, before posting!
