Difference between Full-Width Framework, and Full-Width with Canvas?

Recommended Posts

As far as I can tell, the only difference is that the 'canvas' is a block colour behind the content. Is there anything that can be done with 'framework' that can't be done with 'canvas'?

I am trying to figure out whether PlatformPro can allow me to have full width elements (like the footer). For example; can a Boxes section have it's own background colour/pic that spans the entire screen, and is different from the page and the canvas?

I see... By default, yes: the footer and header can extend the width of the site. You would have to modify the CSS if you want the main content area to also span the width of the site (including the boxes, etc.). Many of those elements have their own specific styles (widths, etc.), so it will likely require modifying those too.
