Recommended Posts

Dear all. WPML and PlatformPro works together flawlessy, but I can not figure out, how to translate blocks in footer like More Statement and Site Terms Statement. I dont want to mess around with editing Platform core files, of course.

Can you provide a link to your site?

There are several translation plugins such as gTranslate that will translate your site into over 50 languages, including several from the Baltic region. Visit http://www.wordpress.org/extend/plugins and search for "translate".

This seems a bit complex. Essentially, you need to change the site based on the browser language of your visitor and have different footer components. Since these are text widgets, you'd have to use something like Widget Logic to set which widgets appear under those circumstances. However, Widget Logic doesn't function on the basis of browser detection. I don't see any particular way of doing this with the plugins currently available, except to publish the text widgets in your language and English or some other language below.

I found the solution. Need to replace default option texts with widgets.
