Columns using CSS

Recommended Posts

I found a css script from a themeforest site, and wanted to add this functionality to my platform pro css. It is column script and their example uses either 2 or 3 columns. Here is the script (CSS) /* CSS Column Layout Document */ .col-2-1, .col-3-1, .col-4-1{ float: left; margin-right: 30px; } .col-2-1{ width: 480px; } .col-3-1{ width: 310px; } .col-4-1{ width: 225px; } .col-last { margin-right: 0; } And here is the page html script For 2 columns

Etiam et lacus sit amet ipsum accumsan fringilla ridiculus mus.
Etiam et lacus sit amet ipsum accumsan fringilla ac mattis odio.
[one_half]First column of content.[/one_half]
	[one_half_last]Last column of content.[/one_half_last]

	For 3 columns

Nunc eu urna a metus ullamcorper dignissim. Lorem
Nunc eu urna a metus ullamcorper dignissim. Lorem
Nunc eu urna a metus ullamcorper dignissim.
[one_third]First column of content.[/one_third]
	[one_third]Second column of content.[/one_third]
	[one_third_last]Last column of content.[/one_third_last]

I added the CSS to my css files and to the dynamic and custom css files and tried to use the script on my site but, I cannot get it to work. Any ideas how we can use this, as I think it makes for a really good professional look and feel.
