andigu 0 Report post Posted September 8, 2011 I got up my Sidebar next to the Featureslider as described here: http://www.pagelines.com/forum/discussion/13062/the-sidebar-won039t-go-up-next-to-the-feature-slide and here: http://www.pagelines.com/forum/discussion/12458/featured-slider-width-a-solution#Item_2 but the problem is, that the sidebar is not clickable in the heigh of the featureslider next to it. - and the advertisment is placed in this area of the sidebar. The Site: http://www.androidmag.de/ One solution would be to bring the Feature-Slider into a Text-Widget. But i don't know if this is possible... This would also solve the problem that the slider is shown on EVERY page on the Blog, because i can't place the Feature-Slider in the Template "Posts Page Content Area". Any ideas? Thx for some help! Danny+ 1,327 Report post Posted September 8, 2011 I may be wrong, but it looks as if you have added the feature section to your header template and this is causing the sidebar to be unclickable until below the feature slider, even though you have changed the width. I would reccommend changing your template layout, instead of having the feature slider section in your header template, add it to another template. For example: Remove the feature section from header template, then change your homepage to the feature template and see if the sidebar is now clickable. Please search our forums, before posting! andigu 0 Report post Posted September 8, 2011 Thats true, the featureslider is in my header template. Your example would be be a solution! But if the homepage is a static page (feature template), how do i show the "Latest Posts" on my homepage? Another Issue: I want to show the Featureslider on the Homepage and the Posts Pages, but not in the SinglePostPages. The problem is: in my custom-CSS is this code to bring up the Sidebar on every Page: #sidebar-wrap { margin-top: -370px; } (But it should only move up on the Homepage and Posts Pages). I think the perfect solution would be to use a specific code in a Text-Widget that shows the Featureslider in it :-) But i think that's not possible... catrina 103 Report post Posted September 9, 2011 If your home page is using a static page, there is a way to display posts in that page using a shortcode you paste into the regular page editor. The feature slider can be hidden on single post pages using custom CSS. Also, the CSS code you have for raising the sidebar can be edited to only work on the homepage and posts pages.
