Feature set and boxes set won't display when adding new feature

Created a new feature set, then added a feature. Next I changed out the feature set for the home page resulting to the feature set and boxes to disappear. If I change back to the original feature set, the features display however the boxes don't. What am I missing?

Is the home page also your blog page or is it a static page?

The issue was bad code in the custom template page
