I've read it and i still cant find the solution to my problem. I'm trying to put an image on the left of the title of the twitter widget on the footer section.

You'll need to use the proper CSS selectors to make the changes possible. If you post a link to your site, I can give you an example for the Twitter widget title.

www.profoundtigger.com #dp-twitter-widget-4 h2.widgettitle { background: url(http://profoundtigger.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/footer-twitter.png) top right no-repeat; } i put this code on the css section but still nothing shows up. i'm just trying to put the twitter icon next to the twitter title on the footer similar to how the rss button but without the clickable because that would be too complex for me. thank you.

Please try this (the incorrect selector was being used):
div.widget-pad h3.widget-title { background: url('http://profoundtigger.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/footer-twitter.png') top right no-repeat;}
Thanks that worked. Sorry for the confusing but i actually had two twitter widget and i was referring to the one on the footer. I putted the image on the top left, and now after i've done that the title text is covering the image. is there a code where i can space the texting more to the right so that it wont cover the image? heres the code i used. #dp-twitter-widget-4 h3.widget-title { background: url('http://profoundtigger.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/footer-twitter.png23') top left no-repeat;} thank you so much!
