Long Gradient Image

Recommended Posts

I have a long narrow gradient image ( 1px x 1000 px) that I want to tile as a background image but when I try to upload, I get a slew of confusing error messages. See below. What am I doing wrong? function.imagecreatetruecolor]: Invalid image dimensions in /home/moncadag/public_html/wp-includes/media.php on line 1006 Warning: imagecopyresampled(): supplied argument is not a valid Image resource in /home/moncadag/public_html/wp-includes/media.php on line 424 Warning: imagejpeg(): supplied argument is not a valid Image resource in /home/moncadag/public_html/wp-includes/media.php on line 455 http://moncadaguitars.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/long_yellow_gradient.jpg" alt="" />

Okay. Make sure your image is properly saved. It may be called a jpg, but it could be something else. Where did you get this image? Something downloaded or created? I presume you were uploading it as a background, from the background uploading section in PlatformPro settings. Try going to Dashboard > Media > Add Media and see if that works. If not, then you have something wrong with the image. Also, can you post it here? Do so between [code][img][/code] and [code][/img][/code] tags. I will test it on my machine.

It is a jpg that I created in Photoshop. It is 1.039 k in size. It is a very narrow (1 px) and tall (1000 px) image. It will not upload in the media section of the Dashboard. It is a very ordinary jpg. The error messages are in full: Warning: imagecreatetruecolor() [function.imagecreatetruecolor]: Invalid image dimensions in /home/moncadag/public_html/wp-includes/media.php on line 1006 Warning: imagecopyresampled(): supplied argument is not a valid Image resource in /home/moncadag/public_html/wp-includes/media.php on line 424 Warning: imagejpeg(): supplied argument is not a valid Image resource in /home/moncadag/public_html/wp-includes/media.php on line 455 I was able to upload and use it when I used another theme prior to using PlatformPro. (I am not sure how you want me to upload the image to this forum.) Thanks

Your image won't upload because WordPress (not PlatformPro) doesn't allow images to be uploaded if they're under 2px in width. You can upload an image by going to imgur.com and pasting image URL between [img] and [/img] tags.

Please read the docs before posting. Please do not private message me unless I ask you to.
