How do I use secondary or tertiary sidebars on individual pages/posts?

How do I use secondary or tertiary sidebars on individual pages/posts? I have a few pages that I want to use the secondary sidebar for and disable the primary sidebar. How do I do this without changing my default layout to include two sidebars? I don't want to have to go manually disable the secondary sidebar in 700 pages/posts. Thanks, Dan danoah.com

I understand that I can change the layout on the individual page to have two sidebars and then disable the primary, but that just leaves a large empty area where the primary sidebar would have been. If I set it to "one sidebar" the option for secondary sidebar isn't there.

Hey Dan, If you only want to do this on a few pages, you can change the width of the #content div, specifying it using the ID of the page that's dynamically added to the body element as a class.

Hello, thank you for this. All this did was make the sidebar and the content overlap, with a blank area for sidebar two. I've noticed that nothing shows up in sidebar two (I have widgets in the secondary sidebar). Am I doing something incorrectly?
