How to Fix Dropdown Menus That Fall Behind Embeded Video.

Recommended Posts

Main menus are fine. However, when hoover over the submenus, these hide behind the video. Thanks for your help.

To add to the previous question, I installed a plugin named "Platform Nav Colors" created by Simon (with pagelines I believe) that allows you to change the color on the main menus when hoovering over them. Works fine. However, there are no options on the widget to retain the same color for the submenu.

Hiding issue If your video is a YouTube video, please follow these instructions: http://alamoxie.com/blog/web-design/css/stop-youtube-videos-hiding-dropdown-menus/ Widget menu You'll need to change the colors using CSS. You can use Firebug to inspect the elements (figure out which CSS elements need to be changed). The tutorial on how to use Firebug and create the customization is here: http://www.pagelines.com/docs/?s=firebug#101. Firebug is available for Firefox here: http://getfirebug.com

Please read the docs before posting. Please do not private message me unless I ask you to.

Thanks, Catrina. After reading all the blog found that it is simple just to add the following at the end of the URL, just add ????wmode=opaque??? . Here is the link: http://alamoxie.com/blog/web-design/stop-iframes-covering-site-elements/. Will work on 2nd part. Thanks again.
