Changing Caption Text Style

Recommended Posts

With this search option I'm having a hard time finding if anyone has a fix on how to change how the text appears in a image caption. I'd like the text to be larger and bolded. Where do I make this change

Which caption text are you referring to? For an image in a post/page or another type of caption?

Please read the docs before posting. Please do not private message me unless I ask you to.

In Custom Code / CSS Rules, try adding:
p.wp-caption-text { font-size: 12pt; }
Adjust the point size to any number you wish. 7pt would be very small, 22 point pretty big. You may also change 12pt to a percent.. such as 120%. By default, WP makes fonts 110% normally, however your paragraph code for those captions is likely to be 80%. Personally, I'd stick to the point size.
