rzaidi 0 Report post Posted September 3, 2011 I used the dashboard to upgrade and there was an error that it couldn't remove the old version...now when I go to the site, I get this: Unable to locate the main framework files! Make sure the parent theme folder is named correctly. Any ideas what I should remove and rename at the file level? thanks in advance
Simon 248 Report post Posted September 3, 2011 You'll need to manually upload then. Download the zips from the members area, extract platformpro, and upload its files to platformpro folder using FTP to themes dir. For whatever reason wordpress couldnt delete the files before the upgrade.
rzaidi 0 Report post Posted September 6, 2011 Yeah...did that and it works...i wonder if it is a permissions issue...
Rob 547 Report post Posted September 6, 2011 If you upload the files via FTP and you get a message saying that's not allowed, it's probably a permission or ownership issue. Former PageLines Moderator, Food Expert and Raconteur
rzaidi 0 Report post Posted September 7, 2011 unfortunately, i changed the r/w permissions to wp-content/plugins recursively before i FTPed so i don't know if it was an ownership thing...
maurice 0 Report post Posted March 17, 2012 I just used the WP upgrade link to go from 1.5.2 to 1.5.3 and it's broken my site. I don't have time to find out what the issue is so where can I download 1.5.2 from? Cheers. The update has removed my background, changed the appearance of features... I am a very very unhappy man. I hopefully can find the backup to restore the server from but that will have to wait until I get in front of a desktop... I won't try it from my iPad! S**t this was a minor update for heavens sake. klausk+ 0 Report post Posted June 20, 2012 It worked here -- downloaded fresh pagelines-template-theme then FTP'd up/overwrote and it got rid of the message.
