Fixed Height Footer

Recommended Posts

Can I have a fixed height footer using the full width template in platform pro? I would like the Page ID to take up the rest of the height leaving perhaps 40px for the footer. Any easy CSS tricks?

Can you send a link to your site, so we can see what your site's doing, how it functions and current coding? Thanks.

Try this... in Dashboard > PlatformPro > Custom Code > CSS Rules section #footer{ margin: 0 auto; height: 40px; } Change 40 to whatever height you want it to be.

No that won't do it I think I need to force the items above to get take up the space, just not sure of the best way.

I think those items you want to force up can be repositioned using CSS. Can you post a link to your site and point out which items you want to move?

Hey Catrina It is not that I want to move anything I would just like the "red" area defined by the dynamic-content div to fill up the height of the screen. On a large monitor I get a very deep footer that looks bad. http://sandboxes.kashmirhouston.com/sandbox18/illumina-productions/

I think the height of the dynamic content div would need to be adjusted then. Can you post a screenshot of what the footer looks like on the large monitor?
