Disable Parent Level Nav Link, a more elegant way...?

Recommended Posts

Hello, I've been searching a way to disable the parent page link in the menu bar. And I found this: http://www.pagelines.com/forum/discussion/7361/disable-parent-level-nav-link/p1 Since I have 70+ pages, it's a too troublesome to customize a menu hierarchy whenever I need to add a page. Is there a better way to disable the parent page link in menu? I know I can arrange the page hierarchy easily with "pageMash" plugin. All I need is just disable the parent. thanks Rio

Hi Rio, Unfortunately that's the only way I'm aware of... (For the custom menu: I usually just put something like "http://a" inside of it, save it, then delete the "http://a". That way there's no link at all ;)

Hello lynnkate, Do you know where is the code that PlatformPro pulls out the menu? I tried to use this http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/disable-parent-menu-link/ but it doesn't work. Maybe I should try some coding...
