Platformpro Carousel 'no thumb available'

I'm trying to link my thumbnails in the platformpro carousel to posts, exactly like the platformpro demo does http://www.pagelines.com/demos/platformpro/overview/carousel/ It's not working. Instead of a thumbnail, I get an error message saying 'No thumb available'. What am I doing wrong? Any help much appreciated. Dom in London.

Further developments. The thumbnails appear perfectly in the carousel when said carousel is on a POST. The thumbnails DON'T WORK in the carousel when it is on a PAGE. Again, help is very much appreciated. Cheers. Dom in London.

Hi canning, How you assign the thumbnail to the posts ? You should do it by setting a featured image: http://i.imm.io/8I6J.png (you can find this when editing your post at the bottom) This is how they do it in the demo page...what the other user is trying to do is to display pages in carousel instead of posts. Please let us know if this is what you wanted...if not please share a link to your page so we can understand better

Thanks Steliodj. Can I just say that I am extremely appreciative of your quick responses. You and lynnkate are fantastic! What I would like to do is to have, on my index page, a carousel that has thumbnail images which link to posts, just like they do on that demo page. But this is what happens: when I am reading a post page, the carousel is fine. It shows thumbnails in the carousel perfectly. http://www.canning.com/?p=2223 But when I go back to my index page, the same carousel shows error messages, 'no thumbs available'. http://www.canning.com/ It is strange, because they ARE available in the carousel of any of the post pages. I hope the links help.

Hi Canning, Did you managed to solve the problem ? I checked your site and carousel seems to be working on Home page as well as post's page. If yes can you share the solution with us ? -Stelios

Hi Stelios, I updated platformpro from 1.2.3 to 1.5. Simple as that! Thanks again for your help. Dom.
