mjlyons13 0 Report post Posted August 30, 2011 This may be a simple question, but I don't know how to add a sidebar to the left of the page without it being the primary sidebar. You can see on the homepage that the sidebar is to the left of my slider, which is where I want it, but I don't want the content to be the same as the left sidebar of other pages. I thought checking hide primary sidebar would force the secondary or tertiary sidebar to take it's place, but it just comes up blank.

kastelic 6 Report post Posted August 30, 2011 Enable the secondary sidebar for that page, rather than the primary. The best way would be to drag the secondary sidebar into the Sidebar1 template, and the click on advanced options and check "hide by default" Then on your page, check "show secondary sidebar" and "hide primary sidebar" in the meta settings.
