https for changing password in Account Settings?

Recommended Posts

Just a newbie here so maybe I'm missing something...however I do have a security concern: I just clicked on the email sent with the "Membership Information" in order to change my password. This password form uses "http" not "https"....Is there some security of which I'm not aware, or do y'all use some magic dust?

Magic dust has several good uses but security is not one of them. I will tell you that I'm not completely sure about my answer, but I assume that this is determined by your server / hosting. Marking this for developer attention for clarification.
