Remove pagination (previous entries, next entries) from category archive page.

Hi, I am using PlatformPro and want to list all post from a category on single page. I don't want the pagination when a category has more then 10 post. I read some where to use "$posts = query_posts( 'posts_per_page=-1&cat=' . $cat )", but don't know where to post this code. Please guide me on this.... Thanks, Yash Pal

You might find it much easier with a plugin. http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/list-posts-by-categories/ or http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/post-page-association-plugin/ or http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-category-posts-list/. Personally, I used Custom Press to create custom taxonomies (categories) and Multi-Column Taxonomies List, which makes a 3 column linked list of the categories. I created a hierarchy for my content and made the default categories the highest level of the hierarchy. A corresponding taxonomy creates child categories. Creating one called alphanumeric allows me to list posts by alphabet. You can see this in action at http://www.epicurus.com/Glossary (with over 19,500 posts). Using a plugin would also allow you to customize the page where the lists appear to your heart's desire.

Thanks for you response, Rangelone ..... I want to do this with code in loop section, as I want to display all post from a category on THE category page. I don't want to display a list of posts from a particular category on a page or post. Thanks again...

I think the code you mentioned in your original post is the same mentioned here: http://www.lancelhoff.com/removing-the-limit-of-posts-per-page/

Please read the docs before posting. Please do not private message me unless I ask you to.

Cant' you just go into Settings -> REading and change "Blog pages show at most" to a really high number, like 1000?
