I would like to insert a google adsense ad in the content area of my blog, but do not know where to do this. I would like it to appear between posts on the blog's main page and stay there! Here is the url: http://www.lessonslearnedfromthereal housewives.com Thanks

First, you should be aware that GoogleAdsense only permits 3 placements on any page. Second, the most profitable ads are the leaderboard, then the 336 wide one, and then the 300x wide one. Lastly, if you try to place the ads between the posts on your main page, with a 3 ad limit, you'll not truly generate a good revenue, and risk having blank space gaps between posts. That said, you can place the ads on the front page as you describe using a hook. Please check http://www.pagelines.com/docs/base-child-theme for more information about that. Meanwhile, please take a look at http://www.epicurus.com/beverages to see how I've done it on my site.

@rangleone Great info about Adsense. :) I use a plugin called Advertising Manager on my blog but I only want it to show in posts, not in between posts. And funny enough, it no longer exists at Wordpress.org for some reason.
