how to get rid of white pixels surrounding custom logo in footer?

Recommended Posts

hello! i just purchased PlatformPro yesterday, so still getting the hang of it. please be patient with me :-) i have a white logo with a dark gray shadow that i put in my (black) footer. somehow white pixels are surrounding it. they are not present in the original logo image file. when i copy and paste the logo image onto a plain black image in photoshop, there is no white coming. it's apparently only when i put the logo into PlatformPro's footer. how can i get rid of that? i have a screen shot but don't see how to attach that here. thanks!

Can you send a link in lieu of the image? This image... what format is it - .jpg, .gif, .png? How did you create it? It sounds like the image itself has pixels feathered from the main image. On one background, they may not be visible, while on another darker one, they'll stick out like a sore thumb.
