Editing the search results page

We would like to edit our search results page, but it is not a template in itself. How can we change its layout? If the search finds results, the layout is fine: http://mit-germany.scripts.mit.edu/misti/?s=connect&submit.x=0&submit.y=0. If no results are found, Pagelines Boxes and a field for a Twitter feed are visible: http://mit-germany.scripts.mit.edu/misti/?s=caroline&submit.x=0&submit.y=0 Can we edit this?

It seems your search is using one template for positive results and another for empty results. I'm not sure why that's happening, but I'll work on it. Please be patient. Meanwhile, look around in the Template Setup. Did you create any custom templates for search?

We have not been able to create any custom templates for search. So strange...I'd like to edit both - positive and empty results. Thanks for taking the time, rangelone.
