Question about Leave a Reply

Hello all. I am working on a project that will use buddypress, bbpress for forum and also have a blog section. I would like to know the following: A) how to turn off comments completely B) how to turn off all comments except for the BLOG section - if that is even possible Thanks everyone! Erik

I think you're referring to comments in regular pages (not single blog posts). You can disable the comments in your pages by unchecking "Allow Comments" under the "Discussion" section in the page editor (for every page).

Please read the docs before posting. Please do not private message me unless I ask you to.

catrina - thank you for your reply but I am actually referring to POSTs. For example, when I create a thread in the bbpress forum, it create the thread as a post. Thus at the bottom of the thread, there is a COMMENT section. I want to remove it.

Sure - now remember this is just a beta site, but here is an example of exactly what I am talking about. I posted a for sale ad in the classified forum and at the bottom, there is the COMMENT section http://dwellydesigns.biz/dev/cif/forums/topic/wts-canon-camera

Try this: .buddypress-page #comments{display:none;}

I figured it out. In the pagelines setting > template setup > single post content area > jsut remove the comment form option. Pardon me, but holy sh!t - this is hands down the best framework I have ever used.

Glad that worked out for you and we couldn't agree more!
