Change footer columns from 5 to 3 and change width

Recommended Posts

Hello, I want to have only 3 columns in the footer rather than 5 and make them wider. I believe I had seen this at some point in the forums, but a search doesn't bring up anything. (Seems like there is a new search tool?) From what I remember, I override the footer controls by dragging my own text widgets in the footer widgets sidebar. Then I can change the width in the CSS. I've played around with it, but with no luck. I've tried: #footer .dcol-pad { width: 220px; } Any clues?

A morefoot footer wouldn't work? That's only 3.

I'm already using that for something else.

Two columns would need to be hidden, but since they'd have to have different CSS classes, I don't think CSS could be used to hide them. Can you post a link to your site?
