How to increase the width of post pages

My post pages are too narrow and I want to make them wider, how can I change the width of the post pages? Thanks

Okay. Let me clarify. It's only the posts pages or the entire site you wish to fix? By that I mean you want to widen the content area only or the broader width of the entire site layout?

I am particularly interested in widening the post pages, however, it may make more sense to widen all the pages if it is easier?

You should be able to set the width of the body through a simple CSS snippet in Custom Code.

It should work. You may need some additional code for each section like main content, sidebars, etc. Do you use Firebug for Firefox?

Thanks I started using Firebug but it was pretty intimidating. I'll give it a shot. Maybe I should upgrade to Pagelines Pro?

It would probably be a good idea. Firebug does take a bit of getting used to, but once you do, you'll be able to fix many of your own stying issues very easily.
