plugin conflict

Hi everyone, I was wondering if there is a way to fix two conflicting plugins? I think I'm having a problem with a slider in the sidebar and nextgen plugin. The slideshow won't load and the carousel is off: http://ysdt.org/company/artists/sara When I take off the carousel, the slideshow will load: http://ysdt.org/company/artists/yukari When I disabled the listic slider (that shows up in the homepage) both the carousel and slideshow work just fine. I don't have the slider showing up on the artist pages, but I don't think that matters since it is activated and used on the site. Is there a way to deactivate a plugin only on certain pages? I looked into other sliders, but I have had a good number of issues with them. Thanks so much. Take care, Samar

Hey, Thanks so much for your answer. I have been traveling and in no internet zones, so haven't had much time to look into it. I tried the headspace2 plugin, but I couldn't get it to work. Not all the plugins showed up in the place where you can deactivate them. I'm thinking there is a Jquery conflict; do you know how to fix this? Thank you for your help. I appreciate it, Samar

If those plugins are activated in sidebars, have you tried Widget Logic? http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/widget-logic/

Hey, Thanks for writing. I have the widget logic plugin but I don't really understand how to use it. (This whole website has been kind of a DIY project with no real experience). Do you know how I would use it to stop this plugin from conflicting with rest? I tried just showing the plugin just on the home page by using is_home() but the slider disappeared. Thanks again. First, make sure you read this... http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/widget-logic/other_notes/ Second, you simply need to make a list of your pages, categories or posts where you want to hide the plugin... Theoretically, based on what I read above, you could eliminate the conflicts by allowing your slider and hiding other plugins that cause the conflict.
