Via CSS. You would add the styling to the Custom Code section of the PlatformPro settings.

thanks for reply, I have no idea what the code would be though?? i know webkit and moz corners etc but don't know how to select or call the main menu elements?? any help anyone is there one class for the menu items for things like colour, hover colour etc and corner radius, padding etc I know how to hand code that normally I just have no idea how you apply that to the platform pro theme or is there a good document that points out how you select elements on the page or a standard css name map of the platform theme? Many kind thanks

Try creating your menu here and using the CSS this site creates as a guide to what you place in Custom Code. http://cssmenumaker.com/ Another menu site with CSS is http://www.cssplay.co.uk/menus/ Both can give you the right options to get your menu looking exactly as you wish.
