You would find the appropriate CSS and paste it into the Custom Code. May I strongly suggest however, that with the level of customization you're doing, you might be best served hiring one of our Pros. There's a limit to the level of support we Moderators are able to provide.

Rangelone, I appreciate your reply. On every post I've done that you've responded to, I've felt like you were bothered that I would even ask anything and that you were trying to shoo me away. Pagelines is an amazing template creator, but the documentation is really lacking and the forums are very hard to search. Everybody who comments on the documentation is told to come to the forum to ask questions. Could you help me out with the CSS code for this one little thing? It's the final piece to finishing my new blog. I intend to focus heavily on sending people to PageLines once it's launched to take advantage of your amazing affiliate program. My blog gets as many as 2,000,000 hits every month, a lot of which are bloggers. You helping me helps you. Dan

Dan, My apologies if you feel I was trying as you say, to shoo you away. I'm like you, a user of Pagelines. The questions you pose are often ones of customization that I'm not capable of answering because my knowledge is solely from my 3 months use of the themes. It is not for a lack of either interest or desire and with no animosity, I just don't know the answers to some of your complex design and customization questions. I wasn't trying to be rude in any manner and if I ever came across that way, I humbly apologize. Still, to answer your query I believe you need one of our design professionals. Perhaps one of the others might be able to help. I just don't have the answer and I'm tasked with replying, nonetheless. Two Million. Impressive. That's about 50,000 page views. My site, which has been up for 15 yrs has slowed down a bit with more competition. In July we only did 703,549 page views, but 27,953,836 hits. You have a great site and I'm very hopeful someone can provide you with the customization support you need on this. Any other issues and I'm only happy to help if I can.

By excluding a category from your carousel, do you mean that you want to eliminate pictures from certain posts that are a part of certain categories?

Please read the docs before posting. Please do not private message me unless I ask you to.

Catrina yes, I'd like to exclude posts from the dear-dan category (category id is 12)

Hopefully Catrina can help you but I have found a possible answer. You are able to use a comma separate category list in the "Category Slug (Optional)" field on the Carousel settings page. So you can just type in all of the category slugs, comma separated, and just don't include the dear-dan category. Hope that helps!

Sure, though if anybody can tell me the actual css so that I don't have to always put new categories in, that'd be helpful!

Danoah, CSS is more for styling, simple_mamas method is the way that this type of thing works. On trick would be to make a new category called "carousel", and add any post you want on the carousel to it when you make the post. Then just put that id in the category slug field.
