durgadas 0 Report post Posted August 17, 2011 I'd like to know if anyone knows how I would achieve this look/functionality within PlatformPro or EcoPro? http://www.cyclingnews.com/ Check out the cool Rapha wear on either side of the content. I think it's awesome and would like to include it and use that as a part of my advertising space.
kastelic 6 Report post Posted August 17, 2011 I'm not sure exactly what feature you're talking about, was there ads off either side of the page or something?
durgadas 0 Report post Posted August 18, 2011 Yes.On the far left and right, all the way down the page. Also, I left another background related question back on my other post about EcoPro. I didn't realize that answering Accept would do this.
catrina 103 Report post Posted August 18, 2011 Hm, it could be just me, but I don't know what you're referring to. Are you talking about the dotted background seen at the top of the page? Sorry. :-? Please read the docs before posting. Please do not private message me unless I ask you to. Designer | Catrina Dulay Founder | Catrina and Mouse
durgadas 0 Report post Posted August 18, 2011 The two large areas on either side of the main page with Rapha 50% off. If you don't see the background, try zooming out.
kastelic 6 Report post Posted August 18, 2011 oh wow, i see it now. It doesn't appear in Chrome, but it does in Firefox. Wierd. Anyway, you could insert a couple of divs via a hook such as pagelines_before_page. Then you could absolutely position the divs to be on either side of the site content. http://www.pagelines.com/docs/base-child-theme
