The categories can easily be set in Settings->Blog and Posts->Post Byline Information (Blog Mode and Full-Width Posts Only). Be sure to check "Categories". (As the title suggests, you'll have to have "Blog Mode" or "Full-Width" selected for the posts.) If you're comfortable with PHP, you could add a filter to the function call for the meta information to add the tags in as well.

Hi Kate, Thanks. I'm not really comfortable with PHP, could you provide me with the filter to the function call for the meta information to add the tags in?

If you add tags to your post in the post editor PlatformPro already puts them at the bottom of your post automatically.
