embedded a movie, but doesn't seem to work

I embedded a html code for a movie in a feature, linked and labelled it all correctly ( I guess) but it doesn't appear. in teh cms I can see teh movie but at the front it doesn't show up. I puzzeled :-( see http://seriousevents.nl/wordpress/laat-je-meevoeren-door-de-wereld-van-hospitality/

Nino, first, please don't start a new discussion as a follow-up to a previous one. It makes it impossible for us to follow the process along. What code did you post and where in the Feature Slider did you add it? Which field in the settings?

rangelone, ok will do. I got a html code. add new feature. copied the code.add new category. went to the page settings and select the feature to show. Normally that works fine. I think that somewhere else is wrong. In the cms I see the movie but cant see it at the front. thanks for help

Nino, The type of code you need to use is very specific. It is available from Youtube or Vimeo but you may have to dig a bit to get it. Here's the official example:

it doesnt work. I use animoto in which I make clips. they give this code wich normally works......but now it doesn't? can it be in other settings?

Just tested your code to work. Make sure you are pasting the code into the box labeled: Feature Media HTML (Youtube, Flash etc...) and make sure you have the correct feature set checked under Feature Sets

Hi Kastelic, I did. I tested it myself as well on an other website and it worked fine. dont' know what happened here. When I go into feature all my features are looking the same, somehow they all adapt the latest picture of movie I have uploaden. when I edit a feature than the original picture is there. I already deleted all the feature and started al over again, no differences. ?

How can I delete the whole theme and install a fresh one? I restored already, but no changes...I want to start from scratch, but a new fresh theme. how to do I saved all the text. thanks for help.

All the data you entered into pages, posts is stored in the database. You may delete the theme, but you can also just upload the new one to your site and in Appearances, select the new theme and use that to make any changes to that theme's settings. All your data should be stable UNLESS it's settings for the theme, such as labels or customized menus.
