Comments form does not work on platform pro blog posts ??“ help!

Hello, I have installed platform pro for a client as part of a CMS website solution. I have used a custom postname structure %postanme% for clean URLS. The issue I am having is that the 'Leave a comment' link on blog posts actually does nothing. It takes you to the URL of the blog post with #comments on the end, but there is no comment box for people to leave and submit comments within. What is going wrong here? Thanks.
