Use PlatformPro header and footer on non-Wordpress pages

I'd like to be able to use the PlatformPro header and footer on non-Wordpress pages. I see on the Wordpress support forums that this can be done: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/creating-new-non-wordpress-pages-with-template Can someone tell me whether the get_header and get_footer functions work with PlatformPro? Or is there another way to call the header and footer? The main content will be filled in otherwise, so I just need the header and footer.

In theory, yes. Have you thought of creating a page with no content and copying the code to a new file to be used as your non-WP page?
