How to create custom template with header different than the platform pro header template

Hi everyone, My purpose is to create a landing page template for platform pro with the following 1. Header images but no link whatsoever 2. A content area with a right side bar 3. A small footer without any link whatsoever. Just Image and copyright text. currently a plain content will do, although I am looking on how to make tabbed content so that all my content will be in a single page and above the fold. Any idea / documentation to do it or probably someone pro can help? I tried Premise Landing Page Plugin, but it does not have the design flexibilities like Platform Pro. Thank you, regards, joie

I think you can create a custom template in Template Setup incorporating the 3 items you listed above (and hiding all other content you don't want displayed). When you create a new regular page, you can apply the custom template to it and make that your landing page.

In the Template Setup dropdown menu, you can select a Custom Template. In that template, you can enable and disable the sections you want. For example, the content area, the right sidebar, and a footer without the columns/morefoot area enabled. Elements that show up (but shouldn't be there) can be hidden with custom CSS.

thank you catrina, What I meant is first how to create additional menu from the drop down list that say Site-Header-No-Link in addition to the existing Site-Header. Then for the landing pages, i will use Site-Header-No-Link, while for the usual pages i will use the existing Site-Header. Reason is because I am going to create a new section called Banner-No-Link to put into the Site-Header-No-Link Am i heading the right way ?
