Search results Using Categories

Hi--I'm used to being able to search using multiple criteria, like categories or keywords. An example might be displaying all of the results of a search for all posts that are in the category "day hikes" and the category "front country". Is it possible to create php queries that can do this in platform pro??

You can try using a plugin to add a search by category feature, such as this one: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/search-by-category/
