How to Add 3 feature boxes under nav bar and make nav bar full width get rid of search

Alright so I want to add 3 feature boxes under my nav bar and also make full use of the nav bar instead of it just going to a certain extent thinking the search bar is still there? How can I add 3 feature boxes under the nav bar like this and use the full navigation bar? I know this would take some reediting of files and modding etc.. Thats fine i'm willing to pay for the help. http://theiphonespot.net when I add more pages to the nave bar it drops it under the nav acting like theres still a search bar there when I disabled that in the features option and it doesn't show the pages categories all the way across the nav bar.

Custom CSS can be used to adjust the navigation bar. Are all of the pages you want to add to the bar already there?

No they aren't but i'm just saying when I add more it puts it under the other pages and starts a new bar and doesn't look good. What code would I have to insert? and can anyone mod the featured article images in?
