WhitehousePro Relevant Help

Each time I look at a help page it shows me how to do stuff that does not exist in WhitehousePro - eg: Disable comments command on pages, Design Control, Layout editor, Template editor - and I presume there are more. Am I missing something here? If so, could someone point out what I am doing wrong please, but if not could you please have help that is helpful to the actual theme? This is wasting a lot of my time
