ibolg4: thumbnail not working

Wordpress 2.9.2 iBlogpro 4 I set thumbnails to posts, but the thumb is not shown to the post excerpt (no plugin, wordpress "post-thumbnails" function). You can see it at www.buecherjunkies.de. see image 1 If I use the custom field "thumbs", and put the image link in, the thumb is shown to the post expert. When I do this, I can??™t use the "Post Thumbnail Placement" settings in the admin panel. By using the custom field, the thumb is shown all the time. see image 2 What is wrong and how can i change it? Thanks

HOw old are the images? When this new feature came out it seemed to only work only newly uploaded images, so try and uploading a fresh one and testing it that way

The blog is completely new and the images fresh uploaded! I have tested it with several posting and images. I think, this can't be the reason...

I haven't heard of anyone ever having the same problem and I saw that you did in fact have a thumbnail set from the picture you provided. I'm curious have you checked with Wordpress.org forums?

OK, I have found the Problem by trial and error. The Plugin "Page Links To" did not work correctly with 2.92 and iBlog4. If I switch off, thumbnails will work fine. Did someone know an alternative? I want to show different posting on (nav)pages.

Do you have the latest version of the "page links to" plug-in. It's weird that it caused problems since it was created by a lead wordpress developer. At any rate it's always really hard to know exactly which plug-in was screwing up except that the two were incompatible with each other. Try : Page Link Manager

Yes i use the latest version of page link to! I have test it again with a brand new wordpress set up, with only the "page link to" plugin and iblog4. Same bug! No Thumbnails! "page link to" and "page link manager" is not the same. "page link manager" is like the "Exclude Pages from Navigation" plaugin.
