Why Boxes Section disappears from webpage when the morefooter is removed?

When I removed the section I believed called morefooter (It is below the product item(s) on the web page), it also removed the boxes section from my website. I am only using the boxes section on the home page and none of the other 90+ pages. Is the boxes and the morefooter the same section? Any suggestions on how to solve this problem?

They are not the same section, but its possible you had the boxes section inside the morefoot area template. Perhaps, leave the morefoot section in your page template, but remove all the sections in it except the boxes.

I tried your suggestion and it did not work. More footer is appearing by default on my new pages even though I haven??™t ask for it to be included on the default page template. The only way of removing them is to manually check the hide option on the individual pages. I have 90+ pages that were created and would prefer to not have to do it manually.

You can go into Template Setup -> Default Page and click on Advanced Options on the morefoot section. Here you can check "hide by default". Then you only have to go to the pages you want it to appear and check "show morefoot section" instead of "hide".
