Is it possible to style the navigation menu in platform pro?

Hi there, I want to style my navigation to suit the branding of a particular business. See mockup image: http://saleschick.com.au/saleschick/wp-content/uploads/2011/08/SC-navigation-mock-up.jpg Through Platform Pro am I able to restyle the nav bar to look like the image? i.e. gold bar running full width of page. Thanks.

Hello, What I would suggest is making that the bg image of the site. Then just lining up your nav to fit as necessary. Let us know if you need help

Thanks for responding Kate. It makes sense what you say about setting it as a 'bg'. I could really do with some pointers on how to do this - whether its a step by step instruction or a link where I can follow some steps. Thanks Kate.

I believe Kate means to create a background image which will include that golden nav bar as part of the image. You can use Photoshop or whatever image software you use to make it. Then you'll just use CSS to raise or lower the navigation text as needed to fit.

Instructions to create the image? Or to upload it? Uploading it will be as simple as going to Settings->Design Control and uploading it as the "Background Image" for the site
